Best. Christmas. Ever.

I always love this time of year, but a series of events have made this the best Christmas in all my 22 years.

First and foremost, I graduated from college and therefore got to cross "get a college degree" off my bucket list!

Second, I got my job back from last summer and got a pay raise! ($$$$)

Third, I got out of cold Logan and moved back to the land of friends and family!

The fourth thing is going to take a little more explanation....

So lets begin..... Prior to Christmas day I had spent a few days celebrating the holidays with my own family. Brother and I moved our mattresses downstairs by the TV...I mean fire. We drank my mom's famous wassail. Had the first annual Hintze Candy House-building contest. Got Nike pajamas from the elves. Had a ping pong tournament. Played with cute nephews. And got spoiled Christmas morning.

I hadn't seen boyfriend in over 4 months so I was especially looking forward to seeing him after all the long distance garbage.  So Christmas morning, Dylan, Madison, Eddie, and I loaded the baby blue and set off toward Southern Utah. I met boyfriend and Carson (boyfriend's brother) off the freeway and went over the river and through the woods to Grandpa and Grandma Roundy's house/cabin in Esclante. After a 2 hour ride we pulled in and were greeted by Amanda, Scotty, Scott's parents, Jaxon, Chloe, Michelle, Barry, Grandpa and Grandma Roundy.

We ate dinner, played games, exchanged goofy gifts, talked, and played pool.

Then the big thing happened.....

I opened a present that contained a card that contained a letter written by boyfriend to me. It said a bunch of darling sappy things that brought everyone in the room to tears, me and boyfriend especially. The letter ended in a question and boyfriend on one knee with a BEAUTIFUL ring. I screamed, cried, shook, and said YES!

To make it even better my parents and brother made the 5 hour drive and surprised me by hiding in the loft of the cabin, emerging down the stairs once I'd said yes. Can't even explain how blessed I am! Love my family and NEW family.  

Bucket list entry, "Marry my best friend in the temple"..........soon to be crossed off!

 

PS) Two days after the engagement, boyfriend..I mean fiance did something equally as adorable...He dropped me off in St. George in tears as he continued back to California. Then got sad and came back for me and stayed in Utah for several EXTRA days. So we went to movies, did some shopping, laughing, and spent every chance we could together!

PSS) Boyfriend will hate this addition, but I feel it NECESSARY to note that LeBron James also recently got engaged...guess he gave in once he knew I was off the market ;)

Something terrible...

Well, something terrible has happened.

Last night I returned to Logan and began typing my research exam (a five page paper)! I was on about page 3 and 1/2 and really cruising when my laptop starting going s.l.o.w. sssssssllllllllloooooooowwwwww. So slow, that it eventually just came to a frozen, halt.

The time on the clock said 1:00am...and I had very few options. Redbull was one of them.

A frantic early morning phone call to my parents was another one.
I determined to sneak into my roommate's room and borrow her laptop and started my exam All. Over. Again.

I hit the final print button on a mediocre paper at nearly 5:00am...slept until 6:30am. Class by 7:30am. And I'm beat....goodnight world. I hate Mondays.

I'm baaaaaack!

Well, I am sitting here eating a totino's pizza thinking to myself, "these things just are not good!" That thought made me think that the whole, entire world should know that, so hence i'm blogging again. TOTINO'S PIZZAS ARE BAAAAAD. BAD. BAD.

I have also updated the look of the blog and I have not plagiarized one thing, so thats good :)

Boyfriend has returned to California and i'm in Logan..(hello Skype) and work is starting to come together, so I should be a little more able to blog, read, pin, paint nails, and do other stuff.

This past weekend I was in California with Boyfriend, and my family, AND his family! Our parents went to dinner together (at ESPN Zone I should mention) and I think it went really well. Boyfriend, do you think so too?  Plus, the food I ordered was the best thing i've eaten..maybe EVER.

Also, in California we were able to go to the Angels slash Yankees game (Go Yankees...they lost! Bleh)
and the USC slash Utah football game (Go Utes...they lost! Bleh) All around it was a good time despite none of my team's winning....and having to leave boyfriend there while I travelled back to a different state.

Don't ask Cam or I about the ride down there with no a/c......really do not ask....we will talk about it again in a few years when we have cooled down...

Oh, oh, oh and I hate school (hence the doodling picture) and my dark roots/bad skin (will NOT be pictured).

New Baby Buster!

Please feast your eyes on the newest addition to my collection of nephews! Troy Buster Henderson was born on June 1, 2011 and i'm thrilled to share my birthday month with him. :) Both mom and baby are doing great!! 

Hello Sun!

Man I am a bad, bad, bad blogger. I am so many things to post about, so that means get ready for BLOG overload. For starters I need to share some stories and pictures from my recent travels to California! I got to see boyfriend for 5 whole days!! We went to a wedding where I caught the bouquet and he caught that grotty leg thing (wink, wink)! We also ate some BJ's, went to the mall, and went to an Angels game. I even went horshoeing! Nobody worry I didn't get very close, as you'll see in the pictures. About one week until he will be in Utah! :)
